Late Arrival Policy

The Short Version

If you're running late, call us as soon as possible at (415) 347-7149. We'll do our best to accommodate, but late arrivals may need to be shortened, rescheduled, or charged.

Call Ahead

The most important thing: communicate. A quick call gives us the best chance to accommodate your delay. We can't help if we don't know you're coming.

Grace Period

We offer a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled time, we'll do our best to provide your full service.

However, please note: late arrivals may delay subsequent appointments. To avoid impact on other clients, we may shorten your session to keep our day on schedule.

Full session fee

The exact handling depends on the day's schedule, the service booked, and how busy we are. We'll always do our best to accommodate.

Shortened Sessions

If your session is shortened due to late arrival:

• Full session fee still applies — the time was reserved for you
• You receive the available portion of your service
• Make-up sessions are not generally offered for late arrivals
• Treatment quality is not compromised — we adjust the service plan accordingly

What to Do If You're Running Late

2. Provide ETA: Your best estimate of when you'll arrive
3. Wait for confirmation: We'll let you know if we can accommodate or need to reschedule
4. Drive safely: A few extra minutes is worth your safety

Considerations for Specific Services

EmSculpt sessions (30 min)

Due to their short, fixed duration, EmSculpt sessions are particularly sensitive to delays. If you arrive 10+ minutes late, we may need to reschedule.

Body sculpting / Cryolipolysis (45-60 min)

More flexibility for these. We can typically still provide service for delays up to 20 minutes, with appropriate adjustments.

Face treatments (30-60 min)

Moderate flexibility. We can usually still provide value for delays up to 15 minutes.

Initial consultations (30 min)

Consultations have less flexibility because they require complete attention. Delays over 10 minutes typically require rescheduling.

Repeated Late Arrivals

While we understand occasional late arrivals, repeated late arrivals affect our ability to serve other clients. After three documented late arrivals (15+ minutes each):

• We may require pre-payment for all future bookings
• We may book you only as the last appointment of the day
• We may discuss whether our scheduling is the right fit for your routine

Our Lateness

If Studio Luna is running late (rare, but it happens — sometimes a previous session needs an extra moment of care):

• We'll notify you as soon as possible
• We provide your full session regardless of our delay
• We may offer a complimentary service add-on as a courtesy
• You can wait, leave and return, or reschedule at no cost
